So I just got back from a trip to Cambodia (I know, random) and I am absolutely exhausted
It was fun and all, I got to feed elephants and go to all the famous temples and stuff, but you had to be careful about EVERYTHING! I mean from the drinks you're served at restaurants (apparently you're supposed to avoid ice, which I didn't really bother with) to crossing the road. After a while though, you kind of tend to get used to it all I guess... But still the trip was fun and certainly eye opening
Unfortunately along the way I also lost my iPod I probably left it in one of the hotels so it's long gone by now xD;; So I just got the iPod nano yesterday, and I have to say that I like it a lot! haha Although I would have preferred a camera as opposed to a video camera as a function, I mean, I thought it would be easier to put in a camera but o well

From tomorrow I'll be starting work! yay! I'm going to be working for a friend that's an artist, mostly she dyes i think and she needs help to get ready for exhibitions and stuff. Must save up for college

I haven't had much time to work on the 100 theme challenge, but I've been wanting to do a digital piece so hopeful I'll get it done soon!

yikes... i better get working

I watched Watchmen yesterday-- yaay! and I actually really liked the movie. I was expecting a lot of blood and all that, and I did see, but it didn't really get in the way of the over all quality of the movie, which I was surprised to see. I also liked the fact that it wasn't the usual superhero film, with a clear hero and villain, actually it seemed like most of the watchmen were just psychopaths but anyway, I really enjoyed it, and if you havent seen it, I would recommend it. Plus Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays a dead guy.. again lol

SInce I have time to do my own stuff in art class, right now I'm working on a charcoal piece of Rorschach-- yay

Yay I'm so happyy! I sent in about October last year the painting I did of Robert Pattinson [link] to him and it came back signed! I actually didn't think it was coming back since I was sending it at a time where he was so busy and famous and whatever, and I gave up around January But yesterday I opened the mail box and there was the envelope!

I'll be replacing the original painting with it soon yay

anyway. now i have to practice my Japanese presentation

Soo ive been pretty unmotivated to do any art lol, if i get around to it, i might draw a portrait of Duffy since i'll be going to her concert soon. yay! i can't wait! it's going to be at a really small place so i'll be able to see the concert really well. i'm also considering going to see Gym Class Heroes, which is like next week monday :/ but i'm not sure, i only have their first CD and i don't know how they are live. plus well.. its a monday so yea. im still thinking.

on saturday i was volunteering at this cafe for some family friends. it was actually fun, even though it consisted mostly of washing dishes with a sink that only provided COLD water i also got to serve this couple, but i was out for lunch during the busy time of day lol so next time i volunteer i might be able to serve more people. i also got to learn how to make coffee the proper way, even though i don't drink coffee lol

and Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest show i'm so addicted

anyway yea im looking forward to next week
